    Hello Ladies & Gentlemen,
I hope this is the best place to post this 1st post:

I have just swapped out from Mac tp my home built PC running windows 10.
So, on the mac I had a great download manager (forget the name) where I could simply COPY the generated Links list in Linksnappy and paste them in. I would then have 5, 10, 20 or whatever files to download in one go and the manager would sort them out Simple.

Now I can't find ANYTHING like that for Chrome or Edge etc. They all seem to require an app installation, and when I copy the list and try to either paste or use the "downloader" it simply combines every link - makes them all into one big link: (link_01.rarLink_02.rarLink_03.rar etc) and errors out, of course. I can't put each link in one at a time.

Please, can you help me get back to a downloader that doesn't COMBINE the links and allows me to add them in and start them going?

I am new to Windows, well - It's been a decade at least. I am happy to be back again but I am very "new".
Thank you all, any help REALLY appreciated. Do Have a lovely Weekend.
    T xx.

Ahh. Thank you both, most kind.
I am using FreeDownloadManager Right now - It's the same one I had on my Mac. So Brilliant. Does it Download YouTube? If not, I will also get Telecharger - as I am always downloading YouTube for musical Instrument Making Material.
    You BOTH win BEST ANSWER.

    Consider Me Sorted!
    Have a Bon Weekend.

When you cut the "simple", JDownloader 2 is the best of all download managers and it's available
    on PC, Mac & Linux.

You can dl from any site, also Youtube and other video platforms (incl. the audio tracks as file, so no conversation needed),
add accounts for hosting services and passwords for http or ftp servers, add links by just copying them,
analyze sites for links if you don't want to add downloads manually, unpack archives, shut down the PC after that,...

I for example use it like that:
I add links (for example from rapidgator), give the package a name, add file passwords if needed
and then JD2 downloads everything, puts it into a subfolder named after the package name,
unpacks the archives, checks for its checksums and if correct, deletes the archive file
and then shuts down my PC if I hit the respective button before going to sleep.

The next day I have the fully downloaded and unpacked file on my disk ready to use.
It even unpacks multiple packed archives (often seen on R2R downloads where the downloaded parts
contain additional parts named *.r00 to *.r99 or whatever) so it doesn't matter how often someone
wraps up a file, JD2 will do it with ease.

When it comes to link crypting sites, it just decrypts them and collects the links for you
and when a captcha is needed for authorization, it tries to decrypt the captcha automatically
or displays a small window where you can solve it - and all of this without visiting the with
ads flooded crypting site in your browser.

It also works for downloading music from VK.com or any media from facebook, twitter, instagram,...

Btw. it also saves used archive passwords so if you downloaded any password protected file where
the password is... lets say "www.passwordname.info", it stores that password in a list and the next time
you download from that site, you don't even have to take a look for the pw, JD2 just tries all the passwords
from your list and uses the matching one.

    Just like @r4e, @No Avenger , @evolasme and @Aileron said, JDownloader is a beast.
But it has an initial steep learning curve. So what you said:
It's the best decision for your needs.

In fact I'm gonna check out FreeDownloadManager last version. I hear good things here and there.
