Best Sample Browser for Mac?

It would be sweet to have a fast way to preview sounds . . .

i think Sononym is the best overall option you are going to "find". Then XO. but there are quite a few factors to take into account, though. Most of the time I end up using the Finder. They all want to scan and build an index, but if you throw a few terabytes at them they take forever.

 

I could never get Sononym set up. The scan never completed and it was creating a big file/database. I'm reinstalling . . . hoping that the latest version will work out. If not, I need another option. XO?

But it's another one that wants to scan and build index. It has drum machine style features that some people use.
