Hey guys,

I've been given a reference for a production. This one:

It's an indie folk track with a beautiful, delicate string arrangement. The strings sound very raw and real, probably it's recorded live, but I was wondering if there is a library that can emulate that sound. All the usual mainstream string libraries sound very cinematic, far, and even the chamber ones don't get that woody, imperfect sound for this specific genre.

I think 8DIO deep solo violin/cello/whatever. What you want is completely dry recordings and many articulations. There is also Abbey Road Two: Iconic Strings, which are really dry.
