The biggest issue with digital samples is they all have a digital clunkiness in at least one (or several) regions.
Soothe2 has a default piano setting that removes most of that.

So if you are using a digital piano of any sort, there are so many to choose from. Ridiculous as it may seem, The Hans Zimmer Piano is actually really good. Massive in size with all of its microphone positions but it is definitely in the top ten for sheer recorded sample flexibility.

Arturia Piano by far the best I've tried and I've tried most.
The trick is to crank up the volume slider in the Piano and it slams.

IMHO With Pianoteq v7.5 Studio including its entire library of some of the best pianos in existence giving you unlimited control of all parameters and settings and with its small size of about 150 Mb and not multi gigabytes like so many others.
Jordan Rudess as well as many others keyboard reviewers agree on the sounds and all aspects of Pianoteq's versatility over any sampled pianos, just check all pianoteq reviews on youtube for yourselves.
if pianoteq evolves even a bit further nobody will want an oversized, extremely heavy real grand or upright piano taking up space, requiring tuning, temperature controlled conditions and care except for concert halls.

XLN Audio Keys: Studio Grand in close preset.

    True Pianos ofc.

Small size and quite good sound wins for me here.

Honourable mention is Alicia Keys by NI.

If it comes to responsiveness for me handsdown the Ravenscroft 275 is my go to. It also fits well in any genre and mix thus far.

also I like keyscape and Garritan CFX

The keybed i play is a PHA-4 concert (Roland RD-800)

The Ravenscroft is one of my favs too, I think it sounds much better than the Garritan CFX but it needs 5 times less disk space... But the Garritan is still one of the best, too.

Lately I like to use the lite or minified versions Rollerball (good movie btw) uploaded on sister site, too. They are just so small and handy, and I don't really need the full versions.

    Hi all,

thanks for the tips&tricks on pianos, found some VSTi's that have to test too...
and my 2 cents: sometimes old Edirol Super quartet beats mega-giga libraries at once, it depends on the stuff you play...
and the last, I don't like the piano sound of this my tune:

which piano would you recomend for that?

Forgot to mention about one more piano VSTi:

Acoustica Mixcraft has a lot of good VST/VSTi on its board,
I don't use that DAW, but its plugins are nice, and the first is

    Pianissimo
