Best MacOs For Music Production?

    Hi, this is the first time I write here! I would like to ask, what operating system for macbook pro is more stable for musical production with no legit plugins from the sister site, I used to use mavericks but now I have mojave and it seems to go very well!

    Macbook Pro Mid 2012
    16gb Ram
    Intel Core i5 2.5 GHz

    The only reasons I'd consider using an older release is either drivers for older audio interfaces or software incompatibilities with 10.14+

    I'm happy still with Sierra, for the time being.
    Going backwards in macOS: El Capitan was great, Mavericks was awful, and my fave was the good old Snow Leopard! But only Logic Pro 9 of course; no LPX.

    Mojave did some troubles, cpu spikes on Ableton and FL.

    I'm running Mojave on a hackintosh (dell e7440, 16gb ram, 500gb SSD) with a MOTU 828 mk3 audio interface, and it's pretty smooth for me.
