Best Mac for Music Production Under $1500?

    Yeah, you can use pretty much any monitor and peripherals you like, I had a feeling you are really into that 5k iMac display for some reason and that you are into Apple peripherals, they are great, no question about that, but there are alternatives too. Actually for DAW use 27" and 1080p is more than enough, IMHO.

    Exactly - even more so when you consider how many Intel Macs are being dropped by the next version of MacOS, never mind in a year or two - I suspect even my 2019 MBP will be out of support in another year or two:

    Which is annoying tbh but I've already ordered a new M2 Pro Mac Mini for my main studio machine so the MBP will now just be a home office machine which I care less about.
