Best in the box feedback tool

    I'd like to create the classic guitar feedback sound in the box without using an external amp. Whats a go to plugin or technique I could use?

    I tried it and it didn't convince me, sounds too artificial.

    Try both but I doubt you or anyone else would find them any good. I didn't.

    I demoed it and then unistalled it. It is far too linear and unrealistic. It was like scratching nails on a blackboard and chewing tinfoil on a metal tooth filling.

    softube AF with a BIG COMPRESSOR in front (i used http://distorqueaudio.com/plugins/vitamin-c.html )
    And MOVE your fingers/vibrato to help a subtle "sustain"

    I played this AMAZING song with it (original guitarist use a sustainer/sustainiac) :
