what is the best high pass and low pass filter plugins out there that do their job very, very well, or is there no difference to what to use?

if you recommend me something, make sure it's from same company, like both high pass filter
and low pass are from same company or same plugin, but then again, I am open to all suggestions, thanks a lot! :)

    Use just the best:
    Vengeance - Philta XL

The best of it: ITS FREE (CM Edition)!
Up to 96dB filters for low & highpass filters.

    A free, premium sounding no-brainer - that's what you need! :)

are you using the filter as a creative effect, or in a mixing situation to remove the bottom from non bass tracks and the highs from bass? I use a different ones for mixing and composing

    I like CamelPhat :)

Just clear the preset and use the low/hi/band filters.

Tried every filter plugin listed above. And not that my opinion means anything more than anyone elses... but heres what I notice.

Fabfilter is dope with lots of options but the modulation list can get pretty overwhelming, especially if you are just looking to sweep a rez and freq knob and not much more.

Soundtoys: prolly some of my favorite sounding pluggins, but filterfreq, is not as cool as Echoboy, wtvr that means... however, its still a pretty chill filter plugin with good analog emulations.

Also I love sonalksis tbk's... they are simple and sound great man. I mean GREAT.

    but...

Tone2 Bifilter: is fucking sick and simple as hell. Try it. Its free...... on Audioz!! lololololz duh.

Free filters. You don't need to buy expensive filters. Most of it (usually) has got the same algorithms anyway.

It took me a lil while download the recommended filters, many links are broken, newer versions seem just present minor changes. Coffee was dark.
Till now just I have been using the built in EQ's. But I'm starting to see the differences.
Oh Well after just messing around with the presets. It's a big difference!
