It's important that you do every part of your mix carefully. The last thing you should do is boost or cut frequencies just because someone told you to. Every mix is different. Some mixes require tons of EQ work, while others don't need any at all. There are also no “best equalizer settings” for every instrument.

It's up to YOU to determine what you want to achieve before you reach for the EQ.

Better you use this one “ Fruity Parametric EQ 2”

Fruity Parametric EQ 2 is an advanced 7-Band parametric equalizer plugin with Standard (Infinite Impulse Response [IIR]) and an advanced Linear Phase (Fast Fourier Transform [FFT]) mode that allows fast parameter changes not normally possible with conventional FFT filters.

Thanks for the link and I had to test it right away, here are the results:

Based on the search results and current trends in 2025, the best EQ plugins utilizing AI technology are:

    1. FabFilter Pro-Q3: Highly versatile with dynamic EQ capabilities, precise control, and up to 24 bands. It offers linear phase mode, Dolby Atmos integration, and a spectrum analyzer with frequency collision detection1.

    2. Sonible smart:EQ 4: Features 24 flexible bands and uses AI to analyze and optimize audio based on selected sound profiles. It offers customized EQ adjustments for instruments, vocals, and genres1.

    3. Oeksound Soothe 2: While not a traditional EQ, it's considered one of the best AI-driven resonance suppressors, complementing other EQ plugins well4.

    4. Plugin Boutique Scaler EQ: Stands out for its in-key EQ functionality and key detection feature, which automatically identifies the key of a track and allows for harmonically aligned EQ changes1.

    5. TDR Nova: Although not explicitly AI-driven, it's a powerful dynamic EQ that competes well with paid plugins and is highly regarded for its clean sound and flexibility12.
These plugins represent the cutting edge of EQ technology in 2025, offering a range of AI-assisted features to enhance the mixing and mastering process. The choice between them often comes down to specific needs and personal preference, as they each have unique strengths and approaches to sound shaping.

the biggest question is, which Model did you ask? There is not one AI, there is many models, which are all equal.

here is Deepseek with Deep Thinking (R1) result:

." That might have been an error. So the user probably didn't get the complete answer and is asking again. They might be looking for a more comprehensive list or additional options.
I need to ensure that the answer is complete this time. Let me expand on the previous points and maybe add more plugins. The user might be someone starting out in audio production, looking for reliable EQs for mixing or mastering. They might value both surgical precision and analog emulation.
Also, the original answer included some compressors with EQ sections. Maybe they want dedicated EQs, so I should focus on that. Let me structure the answer with categories like Surgical/Transparent, Analog-Style, Mastering, Creative, etc., to cover different use cases. Including factors like budget, workflow, and DAW compatibility could help them make a better choice.
I should mention FabFilter Pro-Q 3 again, as it's a top choice. Then add others like DMG Equilibrium, Plugin Alliance bx_digital V3, Kirchhoff EQ for newer options. For analog emulation, Pultec emulations from UAD or Waves, Maag EQ4. For mastering, Ozone, Weiss EQ. Creative tools like Soundtoys Sie-Q, FreakQ 301. Maybe free options like TDR Nova or Vitalium.
Need to explain why "best" is subjective and depends on their needs. Emphasize transparency vs color, features, and budget. Make sure the answer is thorough but not overwhelming. Avoid repeating the previous cutoff and ensure the response is complete this time.
    <|end▁of▁thinking|>
The "best" EQ plugin depends on your workflow, budget, and whether you prioritize **surgical precision**, **analog-style coloration**, or **creative sound design**. Here’s a curated list of top contenders across categories:
    ---
    ### **1. Surgical/Transparent EQs (Clean & Precise)**
    - **FabFilter Pro-Q 3**
    - **Why**: Ultra-flexible, with dynamic EQ, mid/side processing, spectrum grabbing, and zero latency. Perfect for mixing/mastering.
    - **Best for**: Engineers who need precision and modern features.
    - **DMG Equilibrium**
    - **Why**: Combines surgical precision with analog emulations (Pultec, SSL, etc.) and customizable curves.
    - **Best for**: Hybrid workflows (digital + analog).
    - **Plugin Alliance bx_digital V3**
    - **Why**: Linear-phase EQ with mid/side control and a unique "TMT" analog flavor.
    - **Best for**: Mastering and stereo enhancement.
    ---
    ### **2. Analog-Style EQs (Colored/Character)**
    - **UAD Pultec EQP-1A / Waves PuigTec**
    - **Why**: Classic "magic" for boosting lows/highs without muddiness. A studio staple.
    - **Best for**: Warming vocals, bass, or mastering.
    - **Soundtoys Sie-Q**
    - **Why**: Inspired by vintage console EQs, adds subtle saturation and vibe.
    - **Best for**: Glueing mixes or adding "vintage" sparkle.
    - **Maag EQ4**
    - **Why**: Famous "Air Band" (40kHz) for ethereal highs. Clean but musical.
    - **Best for**: Vocals, acoustic instruments, or mastering.
    ---
    ### **3. Mastering-Grade EQs**
    - **iZotope Ozone 11 EQ**
    - **Why**: AI-assisted matching, spectral shaping, and seamless integration with Ozone’s mastering suite.
    - **Best for**: Final polish in mastering.
    - **Weiss EQ1 (by Softube)**
    - **Why**: Used in top mastering studios for its pristine linear-phase processing.
    - **Best for**: High-end mastering.
    ---
    ### **4. Creative/Experimental EQs**
    - **Cockos ReaEQ (Free with Reaper)**
    - **Why**: Lightweight, customizable, and surprisingly powerful for sound design.
    - **Best for**: Budget-conscious creators.
    - **MeldaProduction MEqualizer**
    - **Why**: Endless modulation/automation options for evolving sounds.
    - **Best for**: Experimental music and sound design.
    - **FreakQ 301 (by Inear Display)**
    - **Why**: A "morphing" EQ with chaotic frequency shifting.
    - **Best for**: Glitchy, unpredictable effects.
    ---
    ### **Free Options**
    - **TDR Nova (Parallel Dynamic EQ)**
    - **Voxengo Marvel GEQ (Graphic EQ)**
    - **Vitalium (by Vital Audio)**
    ---
    ### **How to Choose**
    1. **Transparent vs. Colored**: Need clean fixes? Go **Pro-Q 3**. Want vibe? Pick **Pultec**.
    2. **Workflow**: Do you need dynamic EQ (Pro-Q 3) or analog emulation (UAD)?
    3. **Budget**: Free tools like **TDR Nova** are excellent for beginners.
There’s no single "best" EQ—it’s about what fits your sound and workflow!

For some reason, of all EQs I own, I always go back to Pro Tools stock EQ. Is it better than anything else? Not at all. It's just old and trustworthy.

The best EQ? Move your microphone around or change samples and patches.

EDIT: There's actually a series of EQs or EQ moves that go with what I'm trying to achieve:
    • Recording Day: mic positioning
    • Beats and Arrangements: choice of patches and samples
    • Highlighting Tracks or Carving Space in a Mix: stock EQ with broad Q for boosting, and narrower (never too steep) Q for cutting
    • Rescuing a Bad Sounding Track or Sample, or MP3 Use in a Mix: Soothe, Focusrite Balancer, SmartEQ3, Eventide Split EQ, STL Tones Control Hub, TDR Nova
    • Adding Vibe: STL Tones Control Hub
    • Mastering and Mix Bus: UAD Massive Passive
That's my current workflow. Along the time I've been using lots of other stuff: Acustica Acqua, UAD EQs, other plugin developers, too, but this is where I'm at now.

If you only rely on the results of the AI, you are left behind.

In theory, you have to double-check everything that the AI spits out. If you build a skyscraper according to the AI's instructions, it may have overlooked a floor. Or calculated the screw thickness incorrectly. The masses of people will eat it up and love it, it is faster than human research and all in real time.

Availability for users Grok 3 offers different access models.

    These cover different user needs:

    - Direct access via X-Premium subscription
    - Extended features for Premium+ users
    - Limited free trial for new users

What you have presented to us is just a list of the most popular opinions. That's it. There's nothing more to it. It's no different to listening to an average Joe's opinion. Would you listen to an average idiot on the street? Or wait, it's even worse, because average Joe does at least some thinking and he's aware that Pro-Q 4 exists. AI, on the other hand, sees only the total number of responses praising Pro-Q 3 and nothing else.

Sorry for my rambling, but I hate it when people treat AI like an oracle. It's just a glorified curve fitting, statistics dressed up and most often than not done badly.

I will soon have some stickers printed with “Made with AI” and stick them on everything I want to sell.

The baker next door asked me if he could get some AI stickers, he has a loaf of bread
that sells badly, “ Made with AI “ he will certainly be able to sell the bread better.

The list it kicked out isn't perfect. But it's quite comprehensive, and says right in it (if you actual read it), that "there is no best EQ". It contains many of the same disagreements most of us will have with any list written by any human poster would write, but in about 5 seconds. It doesn't even waste anyones time with comparisons to the "super expensive vintage hardware EQ's I "used to own". It's not sliding product placements and endorsements sneakily laced into a Mix With The Masters video trying to sell anyone something.

It would be more amusing if it did not look so intimidated.

You sir are very smart. The AI said at the end: "I based my overall decisions on a combination of industry reputation, user reviews, feature sets, and real-world applications in professional audio production."

It might be outdated, but it said what you commented. So what's the point?

by the way, if we're talking about EQ, at least for masking, it shouldn't be necessary to dig through frequencies—there should be a way to adjust multiple tracks at once, instantly (invert), and auto-gain, that's a good starting point for an EQ, So I'd rather have AI in the EQ, as long as it suggests or shows meaningful things that speed up the workflow.

Elon Musk and his team are already working on the DAW of tomorrow. The first rumors that have leaked out say the following:
In 2036, the first DAW with voice control will be on the market. Its name is SteinFlAbleRepLogStudio AI v1.0.

So what can it do? The plan is an automatic login to Audioz with simultaneous real-time installation and registration on your PC (thanks to the R2R team), then just say the genre and the BPM and the AI creates a complete song, so you no longer need to sit in front of the PC and enter your own information.

Version 2 provides for publication on the Internet YouTubeAi v23 with simultaneous distribution of life vouchers when your songs are sold.
