Best Drum VST instrument

    Superior Drummer is the best by far if you're talking about metal drums.
    Ezdrummer is pretty good with the obvious tweaks here and there, but sometimes I hate when the kit have some great bass drums and crappy snares or thin cymbals. Sometimes I wish I could mix them...
    AD was tried and I never got the metal tone I was looking for. I deleted and never ever remember it again.
    BFD was a awful. Maybe now is better but its older versions were not useful.
    Steven Slate, I have not tried this one, maybe I'll give it a try.

    Addictive and from what I hear Slate now too Ill have to get it. NI studio drummer and abbey road drums are fantastic also.

    I design my own drums from chopped breaks....so Battery 3

    for multisampled kits, ezDrummer is my personal favorite

    I use RMX, Battery 4 or Groove Agent 4 and import my own samples!
