Trying to get some idea's of some of the more creative VST effects that are out there. Not your usual Reverb, compression, eq, delay, etc.

I'm looking for odd and crazy and creative FX that really change the source sound. Stuff like DBlue Glitch or stutter and even Ohmicide (even though its just a MB Distortion)

Also, some nicer Multi FX with lots of sound altering options are interesting as well.

Maybe a VST with alot of Filters that you can modulate with lots of different waveforms, or a VST thsat can modulate pitch, etc.. just crazier stuff, you know?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post, and responding!

Try to master Reaktor... It's stable and has endless possibilities... I love Grm tools also but a bit outdated and the new versions are Ilok2

    Turnado, efetrix or artilhery...
Sometimes is more about automation than a plugin itself.
Ussualy the better design is done first with a good analog distortion and compressor.
A real good FX that I like is talkbox.
But, again, all of this is Only Good as its automation.
Creative FX must be about expressiveness, not Just fireworks to make interesting a boring music...hey concrete music is só pop today

Reaktor Reaktor Reaktor. If there's an outside the box Reaktor is it but it takes time to even learn about all the different instruments, effects and the endless possibilities can be intimidating. There are some decent tutorials out there that can help you get more out of it. Granite too like Artic said. frito recommended it to me for Industrial soundscapes.

    Great topic, hence the THANKS!

Little Endian Spectrum Worx is a whole heap of fun.

As was already said, Reaktor is well worth the time getting to understand it`s intricacies.

Also, there are the synths that import audio, Alchemy, etc, that can open boundless possibilities. There are so many others I should mention but I`m not on my DAW PC at the minute and can`t remember any bloody names! Curse those chemicals that gave such amazing feelings yet leave you with short term memory loss! :wow:

Hope you have some great creative fun my friend, post the results.... :grooves:

    Be blessed. :mates:
