Mate if in ableton, there's a spectrum builtin right there, there's voxengo span (look at sister site) it can blend two diferent sound sources spectrum's at the same time, there's also NuGen.Audio.Visualizer, not endorsing, those are the one i ever used. there are more for sure...

I use Ableton's built in spectrum mostly. I also use combination of MAnalyzer, MMultianalyzer and Span.

Izotope Insight. I think I recommended Izotope Insight 3-4 times on this forum this week alone.

Nugen Visualiser and DMG Dualism are very complete (more than insight IMO), you get everything that you need with dualism. It's the most complete (includes even loudness history) and it's also a mastering stereo tool. It's a very powerfull unit, lots of option as usual with DMG.
Nugen has less feature but it's prettier and has a stand alone edition.
Also interesting and very powerfull and complete and stand alone (but not VST, you gotta to use a plug in your session to transmit audio through network) is the FLUX Pure analyser, incredible and sound goes through your network, it saves a lot on CPU to not run it directly in your daw. Finally you have the HOFA IQ Analyser one. Less features than the rest but runs in stand alone, in your daw and/or through the network. Also probably the lightest of them all, so if you have a small config it's a good choice.
I use the three first ones combined with the visualisation suite included in Samplitude which isn't much pretty but is very efficient and doesn't use any ressource.

I LOVE the spectrum display in Pro-Q. I'll fullscreen the plug on the 55in tv above the displays for visual ambience and for guests/clients to zone out on.

Careful, posting links to warez is against the rules.

I'm a big fan of the Pro-Q2 visualizer. I really wish Fabfilter would make a dedicated visualizer plugin though, it would kick ass.

When I need something with more features, MAnalyzer works great.

Yeah I agree it's awesome...I'm pretty sure they did take LSD to make it, this thing is tripping I can watch it for hours.
And you can use it on another computer on your network, you don't have to have it running on your main computer with your daw, you can have your visualisation on a laptop while making your sound on your desktop and not be bothered by the load on both your cpu and your gpu on your main setup.
