    Wow.
Isn't this all getting a tad ridiculous...?

while it is a bit weird to offer 50ies mixers, dynamic gates and tape recorders, it can be quite enlightening for former kontakt player users to be limited with cosine waves and filterbanks for sounddesign and composition.

I always appreciate any 40s and 50s era plugins released, we need more plugins from that era.

But they aren't offering those things really are they? lol
They are offering something digital. And not even a VST!
You can't eat a picture of a banana.
    Well, you can, but y'know...
Hopefully this is just another Harrison.
Because I think it's getting silly now.
    Oh, right.
What have we got so far? I didn't know...
I know The Kings Mic is pre then, but I'm at a loss...

    OMG!
0:46 "before the advent of the synthesizer in the 1960s"!

Nope. First synth was in the 40's!
I'm out after 0:46 seconds! ciao.

(Well, I might listen to some more. lol)

I agree with Smoove Grooves that this being a Standalone is a bit annoying. However, I wouldn't say "this is becoming ridiculous", on the contrary, I'm really surprised by whats the dev's proposition here. It's not usual to see this type of audio software around that seeks to emulate or at least do something having an old Electroacoustic setting workflow/processing mindset as a starting point. I can't really point to other developers and companies doing something similar besides Felt Instruments and maaaaybe Ircam/GRM. Really, I just can't. As far as I could test it and read about it I found it to be really interesting, it has nothing to do with your old fashioned 70/80/90s analog workflow, like Harrison Mixbus, Waves CLA and all that jazz, that's about old Electroacoustic music, keep that in mind.

It might be garbage, it might be amazing, who knows, I'm curious to try it nonetheless.

The first commercial synths were build in the mid/late 60s. I think that's what hes referring to. Although, if that's the case he should have made himself clearer about it.

This is what Stockhausen will buy the moment he raises from his grave

Edit: But now that I think of it, sure this is ultra-niche but I remember reading a news article about some obscure artist that was making noise and drone like music and I was always thinking how I can create a workspace that allows me to get similar results, I think this software would be it.

If anyone is interested in the article, it's in German: https://jungle.world/artikel/2017/07/etwas-zeigen-nicht-sagen
