mate this is another mixer ,i allready shared the categorie in fader and knob ones with my shit english ....also she mentioned she has a audio interface....the fader xenix has a shity interface the the knob ones dont have one i think...

for what you need a mixer in this set up which
seems to be emerging from what we know here is beyond me
this is another troll thread if you ask me ...

further what she questioned ,everyone can figure it out by themselfs and xlr and klinke is googled in splitseconds

Studio One: How to properly set up your I/O

 

ok so you have an audio interface connected to your computer, so forget all that sh*t about the xeny mixer, usb cables and using it as audio interface. Lessgo



forget you have mics input on your audio interface, because you now have a mixer, so we assume you have

1+2 line inputs on the front (keep the switch on INST)
3+4 line inputs on the back

about the outputs you have
1+2 outputs
3+4 outputs all on the back


1 midi in
1 midi out all on the back

now we also assume that you have already your audio interface connected and fully working with your PC and DAW

to connect a microphone
here's the scheme:

microphone - 1 XLR cable \\\ goes into channel 1 on xeny mixer

then

xeny mixer - 2 line cables [USE MONITOR OUTs] \\\ goes into audio interface to line inputs 1+2 (on the front, as stated above)

at this point we assume more so you should also have
output 1+2 from the audio card - 2 line cables \\\ going into xeny mixer channels line in 3+4

then

MAIN OUT from xeny mixer - 2 cables (probably line+XLR) \\\ goes into YOUR SPEAKERS
