Behringer shows no sign of stopping the avalanche of synths and today we have the Model 15 based on the Moog Model 15/35/55 modular circuitry.

The Behringer Model D is one of the company's first synthesizers. Now comes a "reworked" version of the Model 15 with almost the same technical content, but without a fixed filter bank.

Here is a list of the original Moog Model 15 modules . It had no LFO, but two oscillators . Behringer gave it an LFO for practical use , but omits the fixed filter bank . The oscillators can be brought into hard synchronization with one another. An FM on the filter and the second VCO is possible via the patchbay . There is also an attenuator with a high- pass filter on board that cannot be controlled. The original also had this in the noise generator area.

Desktopian Model 15
For easier handling, the LFO already has filters - and pitch modulation on board - without having to plug in a cable. What is also missing are two envelopes and VCAs. In this case, the Model 15 is not a complete clone, but rather "inspired" and "desktopized".

There is also a reverb that can be mixed in. The device is a kind of basic semi-modular synthesizer. Since the fixed filter bank is also available as a module, it could be assembled with a VCA and another 911 envelope to form a luxury model 15 , which would then be complete. In addition, there is still the Model 15 as a complete modular system. See below.

The benefit of such a device is high, so it has its justification. A small sequencer has even been built in. The patch panel allows access to all assemblies. In addition, the device is equipped with MIDI and should offer the same performance as the other Behringer devices. In addition, the housing is very practical and suitable for Eurorack synthesizers. So it should be able to score again.

Further?
As always, we don't know when it's coming. But here the price of $299 dollars is listed. Delivery times, start of production and the like are not known. This is announcement number 8. Behringer points out delivery problems and chip shortages that devices will come when they arrive.

Uli Behringer, the boss, says the crowd couldn't stay at 7 synths a week . So maybe next week it will only be 4? What he's implying is that a lot like this doesn't happen every day, even for Behringer. Attention everyone: that's a lot so far that has been announced or at least announced in such a short time.

Nobody knows what will actually be in stores and when, so it will be limited to Behringer's Facebook output for the time being. The delivery problems are also mentioned by Behringer himself. That applies to all announcements, because none of them are already made or in the store - even Behringer can't do magic.
