I wanted to share with you...
Behringer LMDrum is out.

I post this as a Linndrum, Synthwave and 80's music fan. Behringer is not paying me for nothing. This is not an ad.

With this release a new era for music is coming. Just think about it... producers will buy this a give it a try. The 80's and Synthwave music and atmosphere will start being produced and probably introduced on the industry, then delivered to radio, movies and games. I would say that 2025, 2026 and probably the next 5 years will be that way. I hope so. An era of cr4ppy music will finally come to an end.

 

I just wish Behringer would offer full sized versions of all their clones.

Absolutely is for my limited needs of these sounds, definitely worth buying... not sure the GForce offering makes a compelling argument against it, but I look forward to trying it.

 

While I believe you weren't intending to advertise, this level of optimism might get you a job at the Behr Pr department. I love the enthusiasm.

 

80's and/or "synthwave" can or could be produced by anyone anytime anywhere up 'till now and forever unless all computers crashed at the same time and blew up. AS far as crappy music goes - crappy is as crappy does. This hardware is not going to change a damn thing other than be another boon to the capitalist corporate industrial platform. What would change things for the better would be getting rid of idiots who think that a mastered waveform that looks like this -||||||||||||||- actually sounds good. A bit more creativity and education wouldn't hurt either.

The AJ vprom can be made to sound as close to the real thing short of an actual LinnDrum. I don't believe dropping 400$ on this thing could make any difference other than taking up physical space in a studio that doesn't have to be taken up.
