You already have faders but they are tiny faders.Faderport are 100mm faders and motorized.I think it will be my next buy.

The Behringer definitely looks like a decent competitor to things like the basic Faderport, AlphaTrack, or even the Steinberg CC121. However, it obviously suffers from not being DAW-specific unlike some of the others. Can be a good thing if you use more than one DAW though, so pros and cons. Looks good though and had good reviews.

I currently have a Behringer Motor 49 controller keyboard, which is great as it has motorised faders and endless rotary controls that makes it easy to map soft synths and plugins to. However, I personally use Cubase and have been eyeing up a dedicated mixer controller with longer faders, such as the Faderport 8, Mackie Control Universal, Tascam FW1884, M-Audio ProjectMix etc. Struggling to work out which one would work best with Cubase Pro 10 for my own purposes though.

To be specific for a DAW might not be an advantage, one member wrote on AS in one of his comments that the Presonus Faderport is crappy if you want to use it for any other DAW than Studio One.
Personnally I think it's a good thing the Berhinger is multi purpose. It remains to be seen if it's well integrated with all DAWs ?

Read carefully user feedbacks before your buy, because like I said in my last comment all controllers are not well integrated with all DAWs.
