Beatport vs ? (Amazon)

for DJs is there any advantage of downloading from beatport?

I decided after getting too many tracks with glitches in them

(i think some of the glitches may be deliberate anti piracy - discussion for another thread please)

incomplete
youtube rips
youtube rips re encoded to 320

I decided to check out beatport

I had sacked it off before because

crappy flashy crashy shit
charts seemed a bit fake
price was more expensive
shitty spam newsletter
needed some sort of instal this instal that
special program for just getting the tracks FFS
special app needed setting for how the tracks are named

it just went on

but coming back to it today seemed better
but then i checked amazon and beatport £1.12 amazon £0.62

browsing beatport is better than amazon....but..

for DJs is there any advantage of downloading from beatport?

will i get better spam newsletter based on what i buy (rather than beatport pop)
are the tracks tagged correctly - (i might run a test compared to amazon)

£1.12 per track on beatport
beatport = £2.24 for the ep

Amazon £0.69 per track and £0.89 for both?
amazon= £0.89

If I buy tracks from a beatport will i get good suggestions for recommended music (based on what i buy) or will the news letter be the same pap?

will my buying preferences influence anything.

is there any advantage to buying from beatport that i haven't realised?

what i mean by crap newsletter is "nothing to interest me" like all the beatport chart wank circle jerking.


I tried amazon bu tto download 2 or more files you need to instal some shit app made by idiots. because people cant download without it allegedly. i feel like writing to them saying "I download shit OK!"

so i just got all but one track on pirate searching using google search. i got one from a amazon because you don't need a amazon goofy downloader for one track (amazon's rules)

i dont know why i try not to be a pirate
