You really want the sounds of those classic drum machines. With all the character and quirks of the originals retained. Easy to set up and use in a modern environment. Something to inspire you for years to come. Regardless of how genres come and go.
Your current collection of sample packs sound monotonous and static, and your VST’s just don’t cut it when it comes to dynamic response. Cluttered user interfaces and a whole bunch of features you don’t really need.
This collection of Beaotic Kits was created with you in mind. With attention to every detail.
Built upon thousands of samples, Beaotic captures every detail (and every quirk) of classics like Roland TR-808, WersiMatic CX-1, Korg Rhythm 55 and several other drum machines. Or what about a ring-modulated LinnDrum?! That's not something you'll find anywhere else!
The kits come with several features that lift the expressiveness to another level, such as “Velocity to sample start”, “Drift”, “Impact”, “Color” and more. There’s also “Authentic pitch”, “Authentic accent” and full support for realtime knob adjustments to provide you with a real sense of working with analog hardware.
As a bonus, in each kit you’ll get a gracious number of custom sounds that match the character and quality of the original sources. These are part of what makes Beaotic kits truly unique.
The user interface is consistent across all kits, and is both elegant and simple to use.
A Beaotic kit consists of 58 sounds, consistently mapped to the same MIDI notes in every kit. Each sound is assignable to an individual output. For easy setup in Kontakt, a number of output-presets are included.

In PortaMatic you'll find a collection of analog sounds, sampled from Yamaha PortaSound MK100 and a Wersi Matic CX-1, along with some custom additions. Most of the sounds are dry, while some are processed just a little bit.
If you want to go a little crazy, try playing around with the long spring reverbs we sampled for the Snare Drums 2 group using a classic Roland RV-800 spring reverb. Using the hold and Spring Decay settings creatively, you can make a really cool sounding gated reverb - combine this with individual pitch via Note Edit for an all 80s experience [IMG]
PortaMatic is probably best described as "just really analog", and certainly has a distinct vintage vibe to it.

If you want an adjustable unique sounding drum kit with a sonically outstanding character for your productions, the Beaotic Ring My Linn might be the kit you are looking for.
As the name suggests the sounds in this kit are made by ring-modulating sounds from a LinnDrum LM2 with other sound sources, using analogue ring-modulators in creative ways.
The result is a very unique sounding kit. It's warm and gritty, but at the same time very wide ranging in terms of both frequency footprint and dynamic range.

If you are into the classic Korg sound, this kit is for you.
In this kit you get all the sounds from the original Korg Rhythm 55, spiced up with some Volcabeat goodies. On top of that, you get quite a few custom sounds from our modular synths, specifically featuring the Intellijel Korgasmatron filter, which brings back the sound of the Korg MS20.

The XT-606 continues on the path laid by the predecessors XT-808 and XT-909. What you get is a faithfully sampled original TR-606 - but this one is a bit broken, and has a few flaws. That is all part of the charm, in our perspective. To supplement it, we've added samples from the more recent (and better behaving) Behringer RD-6 - and as usual a number of custom sounds from our modular synths.
A new feature in this kit is Authentic Accent which captures the different levels of drive added by the Accent-fader on the TR-606 / RD-6. When adjusting the Accent fader, you not only affect the volume of accented notes: You also get a different set of samples. 12 levels of accents were sampled for all the TR-606 / RD-6 sounds, and each level has their own 5 round-robin variants.
The TR-606 is a great choice for old-school electro. We realized this, and gave this kit a few extra tweaks, specifically for all the electro heads: For snares 7-12 (the SD-2 group) you get a Formant cross-fader with individual decay adjustment for each of the two Formants. This opens up for some really cool sounds that will fit nicely into any electro track. We also replaced shakers and cowbells with some true analogue filter zaps - Kraftwerk style [IMG]

Based on the legendary Roland TR-808, the Beaotic XT-808 is a sound library for Kontakt that authentically reproduces the sound of the original but adds a bunch of extra features and sonic possibilities.
The XT-808 is not a one-to-one clone of the TR-808. Obviously it does not have sequencer built in like the original, but the XT-808 has more sounds, more controls, wider parameter range, and modern features such as automation, making it a more versatile - and in some ways a much more expressive - instrument.

Based on the first revision of the legendary Roland TR-909, Beaotic XT-909 faithfully reproduces the sound of the original while adding a bunch of new sounds, extra features and sonic capabilities.
In addition to all the classic 909-sounds that you know and love, we've recorded a collection of hi-hat/percussion instruments and processed them in our Ensoniq Mirage sampler for true low 8-bit fidelity. We've also added electronic effect sounds from our analog modular synth to spice up your beats.
The XT-909 is not a one-to-one clone of the TR-909. Obviously it does not have a built in sequencer like the original. But the XT-909 offers more controls, wider parameter range, more sounds and modern features such as automation, altogether making it a more versatile and in many ways a much more expressive instrument.
