What a blow. So many greats passing away and so few newcomers to take their place. :(

Certainly among the few and rare musicians that were 'one' with their instrument...

'B.B. KING' never played Chords... He played Gimmicks, Licks, Melodies,... a pure and true 'STORYTELLER' ! *yes*

Such an irreplaceable loss... I'm heartbroken. To think that I spoke with this man when I was a 19-year old working the legendary Golden Bear nightclub in Huntington Beach, CA.
Afterward, I was stunned to see how interested he was in some young, white kid's desire to play the guitar. He could see it in my eyes. He reassured me I was going to be as good as I wanted to be.
He signed a napkin for me, held my hand and patted me on the head with that B.B. smile of his. He was genuine man with a heart of gold... I love you Mr. King. You rest in peace sir... and now you can hook up with Jimi.

A very big person in all aspects, he left us, but we have his heritage, we still can learn from him. Thank you and R.I.P Mister B.B King
