Battery 4.1.6 from dada was working perfectly on my previous Mojave Intel Mac, but now I'm on Big Sur M1, and it's not working.

It's the same vst file, but now it's just showing as a demo.

I've tried everything, reinstalling.

Applying "sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine" "sudo chmod -R 755" in Terminal.

I tried codesigning it, using "sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - " but I get the error

"/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Battery 4.vst: replacing existing signature
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/Battery 4.vst: resource fork, Finder information, or similar detritus not allowed"

I heard that using the previous version of 4.1.5 worked, and that did work for new projects, but whenever I opened a project I'm already working on in my DAW that had a Battery 4 instance from my previous Intel Mac, I get the error " This project was generated using a newer version of the application. Please upgrade your copy to recall the project."

And the Battery 4 instance shows up as a blank session.

still, it is a codesigning error. I got the same thing before on a NI program that I knew already worked. Some combination of Permissions Reset, BatChmod, and Codesigner fixed it.

find the most recent komplete and use the battery 4.1.6 from that, it works no issue.

try using upawg.ca instead. you can refer to releases by group and release # without actually linking anything.
