When I load up an instance of battery 4 and I load a kick in it, the kick sounds different than when I use Geist or VLCplayer, both Geist and VLCplayer sound the same. Battery 4 seems to change the tone of the samples when I load them up.

Anyone ran into this and found what it could be?

    Checek your voice group settings.
It may be something there that is dulling the transient.
Also check the cell rendering tab in preferences and your sample rate settings.
Lastly check the key range.(right under the reverse button-main page)

I hope you get it straightened out.I've never has any problems with Battery and i think it's an outstanding "sampler".

Uploaded the images from what you suggested. I haven't touched anything, fresh installation.

Anything set wrong there for you?

    Everything looks fine.
    Which D.A.W are you using?
I've heard of people having troubles with pitch inside of FL Studio. Not saying that's the problem if you do use it but if you do,maybe try running it in standalone.
