R2R Release: "Native.Instruments.Battery.4.v4.1.6.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-R2R"
Operating System: Windows 10 Update 1909
Issue: I installed the Battery 4 Setup and the Factory Library Setup, and then I ran the keygen as administrator (I made the changes to my host file so it runs). I selected Battery 4 and Register, but when I open Battery 4, I still get asked for activation. Can anyone help me?

Hello @zenyen, please uninstall and note the following:

Some of our release works only if you block the specific websites.
Run included "R2R_IS_AGAINST_BUSINESS_WAREZ_*.cmd" to block.
Or manually add lines below to the hosts file.
127.0.0.1 www.r2rdownload.com
127.0.0.1 www.elephantafiles.com
Your hosts file is basically located to
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

 

Thanks, you mean uninstall Battery 4? I did the changes to my host file and ensured it myself, by the way

you could try uninstalling Battery 4 completely and clean the registry.
Then start off with 4.0. and apply the updates to 4.1.6.
If that doesn't work see if the patcher from tracer can get it done.

 

Just tested keygen. Without added those lines to host, he would not be able even to run the keygen, and as you can see, keygen is opened, so apparently that lines already exist the host file.
And activation itself has nothing to do with that host file lines, it is just to prevent runung the keygen, because of know reasons.

Try to turnoff Antivirus, then try again. That keygen must work on all old Native Instrument releases. Just yesterday installed on fresh machine Windows 7/ Now i will try on Windows 11 just to see what is happening there.

Just tested on Windows 11 all worked as supposed to.
I don't exactly where those files are, but once, exact same problem happen to me, so all you need to do is to delete some Battery 4 XML files from "Service Center" hidden folders, because there is conflict with system ID, therefore keygen can not make proper activation.
So next you should do is to open Service center (IN OFFLINE MODE) and delete Serial Key and activation code, and leave them blank then try again.

The most common problem there is the conflict with Native Access apps.
Once you have installed Native Access, it changes and gives to you a unique system ID.

Installing and uninstalling Battery wont help much, and you can just make a bigger mess than it is.
Or simply go back to v4.1.5

after i uninstalled Battery 4 and the included Factory Library and rebooted, i tried installing it again
i did the setup for 4.1.6 first, and then the installer library second (from vstorrent.org and btw, not linking to warez directly is fine, right?)
after all that i registered the keygen and it seems to work fine
(i dunno why installing it the first time without rebooting didn't work)

It is good practice to restart after installing software to ensure that the registry is locked in. At a minimum, log out and back in.
