Trying to install Battery 4.1.6 but I can't run the keygen. Windows defender is completely off and firewall is off too. All other keygens work fine except for this one

Anyone know how to fix this?

 

I have just yesterday installed Battery 4.1.6 under Win 10 1909 and everything works as should do.
Try to run keygen as administrator, RIGHT click on KGEN and select RUN AS... And please tell to us how is keygen not working, you cant open it or you cant get registered with it? If you cant run it, the file itself is probably corrupted so you need to re-download it and everything will be just fine....

Yh, already tried this before...

 

Did you already try telling us HOW the keygen is not working, as suggested?
When you say,"I can't run the keygen", what do you mean?
The keygen window does not open at all?

 

Have u add this 2 lines in your file hosts?

@Southparkfan182 As @vanderveil correctly stated, you need to add those entries to the hosts file. The r2r release of battery 4.1.6 included "R2R_IS AGAINST_BUSINESS_WAREZ". cmd in order to block sites that abuse their slogan "Do not make money with our releases" Either run the ***.cmd or add those entries manually. Your hosts file ccan be found at: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

I felt it was wrong to judge a book by its cover, or a person from a faulty post title...
Well, not correcting a title (or perhaps not even NOTICING the error) might be a clue after all.
And considering the reply: "Yh, already tried this before..."
Well abbreviations and shorthand are fine for some things, but not for installing software.

 

If the user does not take time to read the instructions bad things happen. Typical "user error" which is a polite way of saying user is too lazy.
