    Hello,

I am running into an issue which I will try to be as comprehensive as possible about...

I downloaded a pack from Rutracker, as well as Bob Dule's Kontakt 7.5.2 cracked. Kontakt was successfully installed, showing a 'full' license in Kontakt and allowing me to use the software freely. The pack, however, is correctly installed within my Kontakt Libraries folder, but I cannot hear the instruments within FL Studio or complete a Batch Re-Save on them.

Here's my step-by-step troubleshooting/solution after the first error that led me nowhere.

    1. Boot Kontakt 7 Standalone in Administrator mode
    2. Ensure all Kontakt Libraries (.nki, .nkc, etc.) scanned by Batch Re-Save are unchecked from 'read-only'
    3. Ensure new Kontakt Libs are installed within the correct directories
    4. Run Batch Re-Save and inevitably run into this error again.

    5. (Sometimes) Delete imported instruments and related files within the library directory, minus "samples", then re-import a fresh installation of the instrument pack and repeat steps 1-4.

My last few assumptions are that my cracked Kontakt is not truly 'cracked' (ver 7.5.2), because it still shows the red "demo" word on loaded libs, or that the pack I'm downloading (Metropolis Ark) is too encrypted for my peabrain to find a workaround. It's possible I did not correctly use the 'patcher' for Bob Dule 7.5.2, but I find this unlikely as my Kontakt license reads 'full'.

To answer some questions I feel may come up:

    1. I use FL Studio
    2. This is a new library, not one that I am re-downloading, I have no previous backup or saves of this library where I considered it 'functional'.

    SOLVED (Somewhat):

The issue is that inside of the registry editor, my downloaded library did not create a directory, the solution is to...

    1. Open registry editor through your windows search/run bar

    2. Navigate to your Native Instruments Software folder under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Native Instruments

    3. Boot up file explorer now, locate the .nicnt file from your downloaded library and open it in notepad

    4. Navigate back to regedit, right click on the Native Instruments folder and create a new 'key', IMPORTANT: Name this key exactly how it's listed within the .nicnt file

    5. If you have another Kontakt library downloaded, you can click on it to see the file structure we are going to be mimicking. You will need to create 4 string values within the new 'key' you created. Title each one, respectively, "ContentDir, ContentVersion, HU, JDX".

    6. Next, in the space you created the new string values, create a (32-bit) DWORD value.

    7. Finally, right click on each new value and modify it to match the values listed in the .nicnt file opened through notepad, copy/paste works.

I've yet to batch re-save to find out if this successfully cured that issue, but I can at least play/use the instruments within FL studio without issue now.

EDIT: After completion, you should have a new 'key' with values that look somethings like this...

Umm, isn't that what the custom library managers do that come with the various releases of Kontakt?
