    hello everyone, I'm trying to get this bass sound through soft synths, as sylenth or Massive, but have no idea where to start. could someone please help me.

    maybe a photo or screenshot would help me, thank you.

    hi here be a start im not that good but i like to try and its the only way to learn.
    you can turn of the arpeg and play around with the waves as well,
    hold the key for 4 beats and press it again to get a wa wa wa wa,
    a new tune for a new sound sylenth 1 is what ya found :break:

    The basics:
    Portamentoed/glide and pitch-bend automated saw -> EQ -> distortion -> EQ
    Layer with clean sine not going through the EQ>Dist>EQ chain (playing same octave or one below) for more pure bass, as distortion kills the bass (by adding alot of harmonics/overtones).

    A bit later in this track (@2:12), this sound is layered with a chorus'y and modulated vowel/formant filtered synth.
