@ynmn AppCleaner is for .apps which live in the apps folder and only have a preference file and some support files stored in Library > Application Support. UninstallPKG is for uninstalling things that package installers (.pkg) put into various locations of the system which you probably wouldn't find all if you try to manually uninstall them.

I thought the Lulu Firewall was already on this list, but not yet. It's a nice Little Snitch alternative, and.. Free!

They also have other interesting free stuff dealing with security on Mac/Hack, like RansomWhere, Reikey..

Just got a mac for the first time, so still finding my feet with it. This thread has proved really useful - thanks.

On windows I've used MediaMonkey as a front end music player/library. What would you recommend as an alternative on a mac? My music is all stored on a WDMyCloud device accessible via wi-fi, so I'm looking for something that doesn't rely on the music being on the same machine.

you can always use VLC, plays all sorts of video and audio files,
or maybe VOX would work just fine if you'd prefer separate app for audio

    Free download manager
Lets you download YouTube links, torrents, anything

    Little Snitch
Blocks traffic (but I still need to know what to block pithing apple after installing it, any advise appreciated)

Mac Cleaner or Onyx (not so good but according to apple and anti hacker cyber trolls of Apple?)

DiskWarrior (Issues with Catalina) but best there is.

CarbonCopy Cloner (Developer worked for apple, not sure how it is with cracks)

What appears to be more important is how to set up a Mac and protect oneself from attacks, backdoor issues etc

    Any advise Appreciated.

I Use Logic Pro, Pro Tools first (would like a full offline crack) EZ Drummer 2 or just mainly audio etc etc

    Hi

Can you suggest any good settings with little snitch?
I ask because as soon as you install it it allows certain Apple connections such as Didier Siri which then says it concerts audio and sends it to apple servers., kind of weird I thought., and I like to run some decent cracks

you can block everything literally
in newer versions of Little Snitch (4+) there's option in its settings to allow/approve Apple services (stuff like network access, icloud, appstore, updates etc..)
AND, this is my favourite blocklist for AdBlocking through LittleSnitch (just cmd+c copy, and with LS rules window open, pres cmd+v to paste, will take some times, and they'll get added: https://pgl.yoyo.org/as/serverlist.php?hostformat=littlesnitch;showintro=0

    Thanks
So what exactly would you suggest to block so apple and developers can't see cracks?
every time I tried something I was asked for the user password, so I don't know what these apps need it for or do, little snitch some times tells me but someone on a apple discussion said that some malicious software will obtain permission and go through apple services., maybe boogie man bs but I'm wondering cause little snitch recently reported that DIDIERE SIRI was converting audio to text and sending it back to Apple servers.

Depends on the app. The first time a plugin tries to access the internet to 'phone home' you should get a request from little snitch which you can deny. This assumes of course you have it set to Alert Mode for operation so it alerts for each request.

Siri has always needed to convert audio to text - how do you think it searches for you in the Apple backend database otherwise - by magic?

If you want Siri functionality you need to allow that otherwise just disable Siri and job done.

Not really sure what you mean.
I have always made a bootable clone of many OS versions with it, and all cracks have continued to work.
Obviously. It makes a bootable CLONE.
And then I can update the OS with a new one, and lo and behold, all cracks still work.
If a crack doesn't work on a bootable clone it will be to do with having to either reinstall the crack or reapply the license, and this will be due to the software thinking it's being used on another physical machine.

Thanks for any help on this subject because Apple is a bit dodgy.
Example, How come only apple developers get free pass to access codes with Catalina and Big Sur?
I mean Diskwarrior never got codes to update their recovery app and Apple only approved online recovery apps the codes, ONLINE?
Remind you that NSA advised apple to do all this and more

Anyway that's like off topic, I don't have anything anyone wants but so you trust CCC, are you suggesting to keep a machine with cracks totally offline to avoid this annoying perverse stuff?
