Woah, just what I needed ..a shot of 303!

Many times tunes posted here are too monotonous. Here is almost too much going on for one listen! ;) You could make 3 songs out of it, lol. Clever use of vocals. Care to share what was used to produce this?

im a 80´ties teenager so when i saw the songname, i instantly saw it as "Mad World" Tears For Fears

 

well i found this mp3 accidentally yesterday while i was searching for a specific word document on my google drive. What a find ! I was laughing out loud firstly (what a f***nonsense) but meanwhile i’m completely in love with it. This was just a snapshot of a track in development. I have about 50 Versions. This is No. 20 or so. More a collection of ideas. Most of the stuff you can here was dropped in the last version. I finally got entangled in details and completely gave up on it. Believe me, No. 50 is completely straightforward but nothing more than irrelevant bullshit.

All these growly, wobbly things going on are so 2012/13. Unfortunately.

I luckily found the exact Ableton file, corresponding to this mp3. So i am theoretically able to totally recall it (besides the 303 part). Some plugins i used are uninstalled (Camel Alchemy f.e.) though. This version has about 90 tracks.

Because you asked:

Main synths are NI Massive (Horse Fart etc.), Camel Alchemy, Tone2 ElectraX, NI Kontakt (Requiem light, LASS 1.5), Sonic Academy ANA, Omnisphere.

Otherwise Fabfilter stuff (Pro-L, Saturn, Volcano, Pro-C), Valhalla Room, PSP Pianoverb, a lot of Ableton stuff (Midi Plugin Chord, Limiter, EQ eight, compressor, simple delay, utility)). Vengeance VPS Multiband Sidechain (i hate it. haven’t touched it since years. Cableguys Volumeshaper or LFO Tool are my weapons of choice for sidechaining nowadays), Vengeance Metrum, Waves Tune, C6, RVox), Maag EQ, BX Digital Control, Sonalksis CQ1, for the most.

 

Yep, anything older than 2012 is not worth listening to. That's an interesting attitude, mate.
