I think I've fallen in love with Baby Audio's plugins.

 

Verbs!!!
I already have 2caudio breeze, Fabfilter Pro-R....... etc. etc..... my guess is: about 20 - 40 verbs legit. Some have a very personal attitude to the term verb, others are just verbs.
Another one in the collection - even if its good? I doubt.

I would have bought it but for the need to be online for license validation and my computer is never there. Thank you R2R. I'll purchase it if and when Baby Audio updates it to 1.1 and R2R follows suite.

spent an hour trying to play with this one, can't get a good sound out of it, the reverb seems static in a way and a little bit unrealistic, I don't know maybe not a bit, but a lot unrealistic. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I carefully set each parameter, mostly from a preset as a starting point. This applies to the presets as well, I tried all of them with different sources but still can't get anything I like. Must say it is so disappointing because I love their other reverb/delay especially Spaced Out and I love TAIP very much. I even compared the reverb with Spaced Out reverb section and the difference is there, and it is not static at all.

Are they targeting sound designers instead of mixers for this plugin ? I mean they focusing on the tweakability too much until they forget about the main thing, the core of the reverb itself.

 

BABY Audio are sloppy.
So far I quite quickly managed to put my sound in a cave made of glass, and I believe it's meant for that kinds of spaces, but there are a few issues.
First, Shimmer doesn't actually shimmer. It prolongs the decay time of high frequencies, but no frequency shifting is present.
Second, any settings in "Shape" at their extremes result in a noise on top of the reverb tail for harsher or too harmonically complex sources. Sounds like digital IMD. Half-exception is Smoothing, as it reduces the noise when at 100. I'd recommend never leaving it below that.
Third, damping filters seem to be outside of feedback cycles, instead of inside them. BOOOORIIIIIING

 

do you know/used wavearts reverbs?
i liked them for some stuff where "realistic" wasn't important, like the old TC Native verbs they replaced.
"bad" and artificial can be cool sometimes

 

Too much fanfare for a new reverb. I find much better the new TAILS from Unfiltered Audio and nobody is hyping up. Agree with Stevie Dude that Spaced Out is way better too.

 

When your feet doesn't touch the floor anymore is the sweet spot

 

Now that I really spent a bit with it last night I am not in love with the sound nearly as much as the tweakability and am x-ing from the hard drive, soft drive and all the others in between.

 

Thank you all for the review and the listening experience. I have uninstalled it and sent it to the eternal hunting grounds.

Looking at the reviews, the product seems to be more or less unpolished, maybe they rushed its release from their own excitement.
