Sometimes you just need help so:

I updated from Live 9.7 to Live 11 recently. So far so good. I used to use automation on the master volume a lot to make for example fade-outs on tracks.

In V9.7. there was at the master volume this dotted line that you easily could click to make automation points.
In V11.... I'm totally lost (since this line is also missing at individual instruments).
I've read the manual (yes I did) but somehow can not find the answer.
I just would like to manually adjust the master volumes or instrument volumes after recording the parts as to mix them to my likings. I've read you can record automation to clips but that's not what I'm looking for.

Thanx in advance for your help.
    Much appreciated.
    Eddy

whenever i need to automate volume of channels, instruments, i do that with the utility device? So that i can easy delete the device and with it the volume automation.

    Does this help?

Ah. Starting in Live 10 there's a button that you have to click that hides all automation, and in turn shows fades. Automation Off.png Automation On.png

Thanx for the tip. I think the solution has been given by Clayton123 above. There is obviously a new button that hides automation lines since version 10.

Sometimes It's just that easy but the manual didn't mention it. Or my reading-glasses should be updated too:rofl:
