Okay, guys, here's a strange question, maybe even a humorous one.

I have a track that has a beat and a client sang over it out of time, quite out of time... I use Logic.

Is there an external plugin that automatically aligns these vocals so I don't have to spend too much time doing it manually? Thanks.

 

Synchro Arts VocAlign does exactly that, never used it though. I still prefer old fashioned manual labour for the best results.

 

Melodyne. You can use Flex Time in Logic if you want, but Melodyne will give you the best results. When you transfer the audio from Logic into Melodyne, put Auto-tune on that channel strip inserted before Melodyne. You do not want "automatic", you want precise.
