And what about people like me, who mainly use a tablet for Internet ?

Since a couple of days, audioz became almost impossible to access:
    - site redirection to porn sites
    - site redirection to scam sites
    - new folders + new pages open, plenty of redirections to android apps, that start Google play for me to download them
    - many more scam/porn shot

    AND

When finally the main audioz page is displayed and loaded,
When I try to open an audiosex link, or try to scroll the page, up or down, or simply click somewhere on the page, whether it's an element, a link, image, or NOTHING,

All the pop-ups, redirection, etc I explained above, it does that over and over.

And no, no virus here, on my tablet.

should we need to root, install other apps, firewalls, ads proxies, ad blocks, or whatever shot, just to be able to open a website, in 'normal' conditions?

of course, the first who will tell me 'oh, you get X apps for free, you should accept all the scam, pork, pop-ups, redirection, etc, that's the price to pay', etc etc,

I will tell him or her to go fuck him/herself, with no hesitation.

    Saint, if you read this,
I understand that the scam/porn/apps install/etc ADS are more interesting than a simple ads for a product or event, and I understand a forum like audiosex generates tons of traffic, etc, and that costs money.

but AS IT IS, now, it's almost impossible to visit audioz. It takes almost 2-3 minute, to close all the pop-ups, redirections, Google play invitations for download this or that app, porn pages, etc etc, .

    It's just too aggressive. Invasive.

The scripts on the pages are so powerful, sometimes they even bypass the ad block and pop-up filters, ON THE DESKTOP computer, and there we have, a lovely porn page, or a 'find a Russian woman for marriage + divorce", ' or 'find an Asian girl, shaved and washed - *no parasites* garantee'.

    welcome to the Web 2.0.

Do you know that racism isn't only when people hate his neighbor?

Making fun of someone who types 'you wasn't' instead of 'you weren't ', because he is not a perfect American who speaks a perfect English,
    That,

    is really nasty.

To me, as a foreigner of the world, whose English isn't even my 3rd language , and as a guy who visits tons of forums on many many themes and subjects, with members from 120 countries,

There is one thing I've noticed, after so many years : when someone makes fun of a guy, by attacking his not-so-perfect English, 95% of the time, the guy who criticizes someone's inferior grammar or English spelling, comes from north America.

Because everybody in the world should learn and speak English, and by not doing so, he is automatically inferior and less intelligent/rather stupid.

Of course, with my comment, some guys now have ONE REASON to like me even less. To those, I will say.. you know what ; )

    Why this rant?
Because I find it ultra lame, to attack someone with his origins and his capacity to speak a particular language.

I decided to investigate what this fuss is all about and I don't think it's that serious at all. I tried using Windows XP with Firefox 38.4.0 ESR, with and without AdBlockPlus [ABP] and the only nagging thing happens when I disable ABP and double-click the text on PeepLink. Doing that opens an under-popup window with an ad.

The difference between using AudioZ with or without ABP [with "allow some ads to show up" option turned on!] is only in seeing these normal, non intrusive ads, or not seeing them, and that's all. I get the same results with Linux and Iceweasel 38.4.0 with ABP configured to filter everything out [or with it tuned on - same result], as I have already stated before.

People who have problems with pop-ups on AudioZ should probably check their OS and browser for malware and viruses, if you ask me. You shouldn't get any pop-ups or pop-unders if using Firefox, with ABP or without. Without ABP you should only get a pop-under on PeepLink, and that's Peeplink's problem that maybe SAiNT could resolve with them.

Believe me, I hate ads with passion, but I think you've created this fuss about nothing.

    Cheers :mates: !

Indeed, I don't have any kind of pop-ups or ads browsing Z or AS, I'm using Firefox 40.0.3 and ABP. The only ad I have is on peeplink, but It's a flash pop-up nothing to worry about...

    Host files [you can block]:
    Note that using hosts to block most ads is not recommended;
use an Adblocker for that; but these ones are the ones that tend
to slip by the Adblocker mostly used.

using FireFox 42.0 and have Adblock+, on windows 7, I have NONE of these issues.
I'm starting to wonder if it's perhaps a ISP thing,.... as I'm from South Africa, ( then again, I know NOTHING about how it would work, but it would be interesting to know, if it just certain countries experiencing these issues)

There is something fishy going on with AudioZ after all: try clicking links on the menu and if your ABP is disabled you'll get a popup window with an add, but only once per day or so, it seems. I do not like that anyway... :/ I just disabled ABP because I thought these ads are not that annoying so why not generate some money to AudioZ. Now I'm going to turn ABP back on. :(

I never have any problem on my desktop using Chrome and Adblock, no ads or distractions at all. Where I do run into problems, particularly with Z, is on an Android phone using Firefox. I use Ublock on the phone, and it takes care of some of the ads, but lately there's been new re-directions to weird sites. On top of that, Z is usually completely frozen on the phone, can't navigate anywhere on the site, at least using mobile Firefox.

Any of you with better luck on an Android phone? If so, which browser are you using? What mobile adblocking software do you use?
