I've used Reaper for 2 years, without any crack, then once I was sure I bought it. Now I wont try another daw to buy it later. This is the result of such idiot protection. We cant try = we dont buy. And when it comes, it's too late, 'cause we're acostum to another DAW= we dont buy ... Those stupid devs paying for ilock dont even know how much they loose by it ...

 

Totally agree. If I weren't working with cracked Cubase all these years, I wouldn't eventually buy it. Same goes for Soundtoys bundle.

 

i honestly think dongles need to go away. i bought pro tools but man, all it does is cause headaches when you're doing licensing stuff, or if it breaks. now some shit like iLok X is gonna release. Waves ditched it, devs just need to just ditch that crap.

I've had issues with my iLok account and eLicenser account in the past. It can be real pain when you lose access and gotta use their tech support just to use the stuff you paid for. It's not a 15 min fix either it can be days of back and forth emails. While problems like this are rare it does happen and it can be a real turn off and production killer.

 

I don't even know if this means releases that I'll use, but it's surely damn exciting :D Congrats Utopia

it works fine but the TransVST vst wrapper doesn't load, error "not a valid aax plugin"

anyone else try trans vst? doesnt work on cracked or legit pt 12

If i remember well, Eventide dont use ilok2. It's the only one that is working for me. i tried Slate's plugins and Kush plugins and i cant install them (setup file load forever and nothing happens)

Anyone can tell if slates plugin or kush audio plugins are working on their win 7 x64 ?

I read the info on the pt12hd and it has a rather painful workaround on how to use transvst and vsts. Read well what's on the nfo. Though shame on your for getting the craks! *ok bring the shitstorm now*
