It looks like a 70's stuff... fancy's style... smooth view... I quite like it

Another classic design, more great work
one Reason. The knobs remind me of my old Tascam 246 minus the indents. I can't believe I paid 1200 bucks back then for the worst preamps and most horrible eq's. Noise, but not nice noise.

This is the first surface noise (clicks & pops) in a plugin that sounds somewhat authentic to me. Good job! The iZotope freebie and all the others I've heard are terrible in that regard.

I have this one.. but the transport mechanism has been frozen for a long time... I won't say how long tho..

I thought it sounded pretty good... ( a long time ago )

It is probably the transport band, probably. People sell them sometimes on ebay and other places if you ever feel you want to try to crank up the old bones for a second lot on life. Aha, found one! http://www.vintage-electronics.net/tascam-porta-one-belt-kit.aspx
