This hasn't been decided yet, because you can't restrict creativity imo, and we want members to be comfortable and perform with their greatest strength. so if most of the responses are dark & thriller we will cater to that. Hope this helps

i have a Question: Do we need to submit the track with metadata? Also,

• Composer/Author
• Date of composition
• Performer(s)
• Short text/story, that underlines the music (poem, tale, etc.)
• a picture, avatar
• Technics: Mixing engineer, Editor, Recording engineer (if applicable), Studio Gear
• Dedication
• Copyright issues, agreements, permissions
• etc...

 

All of that will be finalized once we got all the other important stuff in order. But for now i don't see why not and upto the user.

Sorry for asking for more clarification as I see you have done a lot already.

Does what you say above mean that the album will only have tracks based on the two most popular categories people vote for?
If so my Sad/Romantic composition might not get very far by the looks of things up till now

Or will the Album be a compilation of the best compositions submitted from any of the listed categories?

And thanks for the clarification about the dates that i asked earlier.

 

In my understanding "cinematic music" is basically a feel with lot of variations. Sad or cheerful etc can be a pop/rock but cannot be "cinematic" unless it has that "feel" or/and has 'those' cinematic elements contributing to cinematic feel. Otherwise anything that sounds high volume would be cinematic. But of course I could be wrong and stand corrected.
