Er...... you know my fractal design is a parody of the Merrie Melodies brand artwork, yes?

 

it was meant as a cool jazzy compliment

I like No 7, but I think it would more fit a "world music oriented" album ( idky, I hear indian music when I see it )

my favorite remains the elevators, with all the jazz innuendos it implies ( chill, easy listening ) + the "journey" theme

7 is rather nice...Stylish too..

 

@spyfx I really like the very first one you posted....

brings to mind a mandala floating in empty space.. with virtual particles swarming out of nothing and floating around it....
very evocative, sort of a light and color in the darkness effect... fabulous, just I can't think of a way to bring the "journey" part
of the motif into it.... but ultimately not really necessary anyway

I like the minimalism of the others as well,
but the touch of color and complexity made the 1st one more impactful of an image

also one of my fave album covers ( and one of my favorite albums of all time )

It kinda wounds me that the funniest thing evah (foster911 calling jazz fans "jazzers" =) hasn't been reflected at all in the album title! Missed opportunity? It makes me giggle every time i see it XD Also "Journey" sounds very ironic 80s hair rawk ish. Dunno if that was the idea? Don't stop believin' (yikes) etcs.

Oh yeah, i kinda like @Beth's work, esp the subdued / reach-out-and-touch texturey artwork, as ever.

Also: please stop doing sinewavey fx on (unsuspecting, innocent, what's it evah done to you to deserve that =) type, it kinda offends my delicate sensibilities / eyes.

XD @Beth that's puuuurfect! I imagine that's the kinda protection you (also) need when looking deep into the brain of our fuzzy lil panther friend!
