No River Murrays. My big problem is that I come across as being too serious. So I try to compensate by joking around. But instead of putting people at ease, I usually get them even more wound up.

Like I said before, I think that people should be able to speak their minds. And IMO browbeating and vilifying people is not constructive. Ideally, I think that when people feel safe to agree to disagree, we learn from each other and more gets accomplished. So I suspect that I agree with some of what you have said on general principle, if perhaps not on the particulars.

 

Well that sounds reasonable enough to me. I don't mind having a debate about things and/or disagreeing with folks on principal but when we start abusing each other just because we disagree on something or have different Ideas about something then it just becomes a sick joke! I am 52 and when I was a young pup I got into a lot of scrapes.
Now I can't be bothered with all that shit. Life is too short and we should be supporting each other rather than fighting with each other.
That also goes for the mental and emotional side of things. Are you in agreement with me mate?
