OK, finally got back into this.
Regarding submission, there are few options:

• Orfium - alternative to SoundCloud - this might work for 'work in progress' tracks. I'm still looking into it, whether it would be useful for submitting final tracks.
• Dropbox - perfect solution for sharing sub-100MB files with many people, and so almost perfect for completed tracks

Which one would you prefer?

Orfium seems OK, but there are some point in their TOS that'd deprive the users of their own rights even though we'd use their platform only to transfer files from one location to another:

• 2.11 For all Uploaded Content enrolled as Downloadable Content, The Content Provider grants to The Service the non-exclusive, worldwide right to reproduce, on The Platform, all Downloadable Content for the sole purpose of allowing users of The Platform to buy and/or download the Downloadable Content. Payable Earnings are all inclusive of any royalties related to reproduction rights, including mechanical royalties. In the event that the Downloadable Content is deemed Free Content, then You agree to forgo any and all royalties related to the reproduction and distribution to The Uploaded Content.

• 2.9 The Content Provider grants to the Platform the non-exclusive, worldwide right to broadcast, transmit, stream (both interactively and non-interactively), and perform on the Platform all Uploaded Content in accordance with the terms of the respective services in which the Uploaded Content is enrolled.

We can still use Orfium in some way (submitting work in progress?) , but for submitting finalized tracks, I'm more inclined towards something that doesn't take ownership over the files, say Zippyshare?

 

Agreed zippy or dropbox would work for me

 

@Andrew what about wetransfer? the free plan allows uploading up to 2 GB and people can choose to generate a link instead of emailing files.

@spyfx To be honest I liked the first version of the cover more - IMO abstract art should be the way to go.
The first version looks very iconic (center-point being that star), whereas in the above example it's more specific.

I personally would prefer the first version, maybe add some extra touches (more colours, elements, ...)

Sample pack - haven't checked it yet, but looks promising. Definitely thumbs up!
