Hi,i’m new in this forum that i (unfortunately) discovered so lately.
I want to talk with you of what happen to me,i’m an user of audionews.org since 2014/2015,and i’ve donated many times for improve my uploaded counter,not 5/10$ but a good amount.
When i see that nexus 3 comes out on the site,i immediatly charge 90$ of upload Gb’s (to be safe),my bad,cause with 60$ i can take the vip for 6 month but i’ve think on that later.
Anyway,i’ve downloaded 150Gb for try that new nexus 3 and see if it worth the upgrade from the 2,the problem is that the counter at the end of the download of the nexus count 650Gb,not 150Gb.
Is obviously a bug,cause also if i want i can’t download so much in a single day.
I’ve writed to the support and after one day they ask me the torrent program and the version use for that,i answer to the question and now are 10 days that i wait for an answer and a solution,i’m blocked with no reason!!!
I’ve opened other 2 tickets with no success,this is disgusting cause i’ve spent 90$ and after years and years of donations that is not the way to treat a good users,they ignore me,is disgusting.
How can i delete my transaction or how can i talk directly with them?

Welcome! Unless one of this forum's admins - or someone else - knows any admins from that tracker and is willing to help you, there isn't much that can be done as that tracker and this forum are not affiliated. They do take quite a while to respond to tickets, that's normal it seems.

I've used that tracker before, and it would always report a lower upload ratio than the one in my client. I opened a support ticket and it was only long after my account had been limited, and after the torrent lost popularity, that they responded, telling me that I probably had DHT enabled and that I must disable it. This makes zero sense because 1) I did indeed have DHT disabled prior to even joining that tracker, and 2) it doesn't even matter if I had DHT disabled or not, because it is automatically disabled for torrents that have the private flag set, which is the case with torrents from competent private trackers.

That, and the fact that their preferred torrent clients are uTorrent and BitTorrent, which you may know aren't very reputable, made me move away. Sorry that you spent so much money on that tracker. If you're going to continue opening tickets, always make sure to set the priority to high.

Also, with 90$ you could have downloaded Nexus 3 several times from Uploaded.net or rapidgator links...

 

Or even without registration from famous russian torrent tracker

 

Antes que nada para 1°que pagaste si aca en audioz estuvo todo gratis y 2° los de audionuews son una manga de chupa sangre me registre en la pagina y dure 1 semana nada mas por que en argentina los servicios de internet son una mierda de descarga todo bien pero de subida andan todos mal..yo te recomiendo que no aportes mas en esa pagina x que a la larga esta todo en internet y esos son unos chupa sangre o sanguijuelas..

And yes i was stupid to pay so much but is a sort of “loyalty” to that site and to take that online,but after that i’ve totally changed my mind.

I had the same report of high download, but well, I just have a account that I never use since everything I want from audio is on sister site or rutracker
I highly recommend you rutracker, you could literally had spent this money in lots of other things that could help you download much more than 170gb, without any loss :p

 

How do you make RUtracker show up in English?

 

You will have to rely on your browser's translating functions; even then, it's not too difficult to get around even when everything's in Russian, you just have to use it for a while. If looking up audio production related torrents (or checking if there is a torrent equivalent to a release from the sister site) is all you plan on using it for, then you'll be fine.

If you're foolish enough to pay for something you can find for free, what do you care? You clearly have money to spare like wasting it. So waste away. Anytime I've ever thought about paying for a private tracker, or even real debrid or something, I just wait a bit and find for free on the internet. But then again, I'm not an impatient baby that makes bad decisions, then turns around and complains about those very optional decisions.

 

no need, after registering (using google translator to translate the page) just search in english the name of the thing that you want, if you failed at finding the vst/sample/whatever you want just try searching again but with the "B google" option, it works way better than the rutracker main search tool

AN is free. If you donate, that is up to you. Why you would pay for upload credit when you could get unlimited downloads anyway?

Many trackers do not want leeches, and require some minimum ratio. If you don't download massive sample libraries or old releases, or in this case presets; maintaining a ratio is very easy.

This thread is even stupid. You had some problem with your torrent client configuration. Maybe not downloading the single biggest thing you could find first would have been a good idea. I'm quite certain they would fix the issue for you, and have a feeling we are not getting the complete story here.

 

Wow, sorry that you had such a bad experience. You should've joined us on AudioZ where we had fast free links for the application, content and plenty of mirrors for all the expansions that were released. You could've actually downloaded everything without paying a single penny thanks to some kind people. Even if you had to spend a little, you could've bought a subscription with a hoster for the whole year with the money you spent. Anyway, you won't get help here for your problem on another site. I don't know why you thought you would? Just because the forums are the same category of site? At least now you know what to do next time which is join us on AudioZ.
