So when you upload a torrent for example 213Mb like in the pic, there is a counter for the released stuff and a counter for the uploaded stuff,
so the 213 Mb is added to my ratio as the released and now with the bonus there will be another 500 mb added since the release is <1Gb.
So now although i released only 213 Mb, 713mb will be added to my ratio.

I would say this is good to the users that upload and also to encourage people to release more.

What if a person is seeding files..... like I know there are people who are continuously uploading it to make a torrent stay alive. So are they also going to consider those guys in Bonus system? (I know that PAT was using this kind of Bonus system but now they've stopped it)

The people seeding don't get a bonus. If the torrent needs you it will start uploading from you.

 

That's good. But something like this should been implement long time ago.
Still it's not fair that They want money for warez if around is same stuff completly free.

 

@Roject, it's just my personal experience.. I believe yours can be different, but:

No way. Are you really using "real" IP your ISP assigned to you to torrent? That would be an immediate deal-breaker for me, no matter what site would request it (even the beloved AS/AZ).. My IP (geolocation/tunneling/..) is changing (intentionally) a couple of times a day. I never ever had problems accessing AN (basically as @ArticStorm described it, only more hardcore approach from my side)

I don't see where exactly the "scam" is. Ofc they are trying to sell their services. But then every site that has a link to e.g. a usenet hoster and makes you kinda believe you'll get something special there, is a scam (or if it offers free lifetime access to pornhub PRO, lol). @Slavestate said he never paid a dime.. and I would neither. I don't really use AN much nowadays, but just checked it.. everything the same.

Also, I never really had to leave the comp running day&night to up the ratio and it's still ~6:1. There is ofc only one way to even get going with AN - you have to have an "early access" to something 0-day (the bigger the better), download it from some fast servers (ofc not off of the AN torrent.. duh) in a matter of hours and seed.. After a day or so this is not going to work, with the exception of very large/popular libs..

You would have to compare file by file to see the differences. Things get removed from sister site pretty often; but when they are removed all the comments about that post are removed, too. Those comments frequently contain information from other posters about what does not work, workarounds, fixes, etc. They rarely take anything down, unless it is nuked.

 

yah, I think I've used my account for maybe 4-5 releases that are either things that I was too slow to get before they were DMCAd' or just totally somehow too obscure for even the sister site. but I'm happy to keep the account active for the (likely very) few releases I'll need in the future
