How does it benefit you to post this bs? A lot of things about audio work can be subject for opinions, and are maybe grey areas. This stuff is flat out incorrect bullsh*t, and you and anyone else reading it know it. Many users have been on there since alt.binaries.sounds.u and never spent a cent. In almost 20 years. You either have a junk connection speed, can't figure it out, or some personal agenda like thinking you should be able to leech for free because you feel you are "important" like that. It's very black-and-white and these comments are ignorant of simple facts. Don't use it, nobody cares. It's just pretty lame to lie about something so easily verified as false.

I would love one, i do seed a lot but obv saying it means nothing but I would appreciate it alot.

 

AN is by far the easiest tracker to build a ratio on. I joined mid-2020 and I'm already at 20TB seeded, only 2.5TB downloaded. If you're struggling to build a ratio on AN you need to do some research into how to build a ratio on private trackers in general.

Search on AN forum, and you will see COUNTLESS ppl complaining about broken ratio.
Their ratio tracking is BROKEN for years.
They know it ... and they don't care.
They just say : buy some bandwidth.

Reasons for broken ratio : ppl using seedboxes with gigabytes bandwidth (no one can compete), wrong ratio tracking on server side and even more

I was an AN user for years. It worked at first ... but it is broken for years.
I bought debrid account and never looked back.
Now AN is only a "release database" to me.

Seedboxes is the worst offender to me. It means ppl without gigantic bandwidth AND 24/24 computer can't compete without buying seedbox too.
If i need to pay ... i prefer debrid account.

 

Any client worth it's salt keeps track of up/down bandwidth used, in total, and ratio per file. Apparently people who cannot figure that out are apparently not needed on there. It's only basic math and reading comprehension. Somehow none of those "countless people" are on here to corroborate your story and those who are disagreed with you already. You could try something original and use a few troll accounts for such purpose; no-one will figure it out

-some ppl (like me) don't care anymore about AN, so they are NOT going to give you any invite because of screwed ratio or no account
-some ppl care about AN with a good ratio ... and they will NOT give you an invite code because you may screw their account with a bad ratio

1. you can register each month on the second day of that month.
2. if you weren't so slow, you would realize you could create multiple accounts on that day using VPN.
3. if your connection wasn't so slow, seeding would never be a problem.
4. if you knew how any SQL database with constantly updating data in it works, you would know that at 12:01AM (usually) a process of "rolling the db" is performed which creates a snapshot of that data in what is called a EOD (end of day report). This is the data reflected when you look at a website which works in that fashion, instead of it constantly updating. The report is not broken, you just don't know what you are looking at.

Nor would someone I give an invite to get my account locked just because they were as bad at this stuff as you apparently might be. That is an old rule, but it's an easier way of telling someone like you No. You can't babysit someone you invite, but if you were abusing it (see above) it would be obvious to them.

You say you don't care, but you keep posting deliberately incorrect info. It certainly seems like you do. But just like you, I often go to Wikipedia to see if something exists and then do not read the article while I am already there. I then go to "better places" to get the same information.


If you did not care, you would simply say that Debrid works better for you and is cheaper; or that you don't just get only audio-related content that way. That's a one sentence real answer. You obviously care.

 

I get everything from AN and dont have to click on dead links. Iv got a perfect overview and dont need to search for older releases, because everything is just there at a click. Files are not manipulated, because scene releases. there is nothing better than AN.

Re-read the entire thread and perhaps you will understand why no one in this thread got an invite, especially new posters who just joined today, and their one post is in this thread asking for an invite..

You might also notice several people posting the days of the month that you can just go sign up ..
