Seriously though, torrenting is still a really valid option for a lot of stuff. And ironically, my last torrent download was an actual Linux ISO.

 

We both know I wasn't talkking about Linux Distros, which torrenting was actually created for, as far as I can remember.

 

registered earlier after a long search/waiting/asking, I was looking for a NTM earlier release, but it isn't there as well. #GG Downloaded 1 file just to test, it's fast but so does rapidgator/uploaded. I can't seed the file i downloaded, it won't seed, probably because the setting in the router (port-forwarding) that I've already forgot about the password.

@Roject is right, not much there if you have rapidgator/uploaded account (real-debrid FTW!). Haven't gone through the full listings and forums, but I suppose it is mostly stuff you've seen before at the sister. Saw familiar name there as well (that thing your Windows Defender always give false alarm). It's just the internet police can't do anything there, because it is out of their jurisdiction (not really). what can they do ? PM the admin ? BAMMM delete their account, wait another month. rinse, repeat.

I think I gonna stick with the sister (and here) because I like the web design better. lol. It is important!

"Linux ISOs" is an in-joke really because in the early days people would claim that "torrents are only for piracy" and you'd get a deluge of replies saying that it's actually good for Linux ISOs. So these days it refers for piracy really.

I was part of the first public Bittorrent test (read from Slashdot, anyone remember that?) and the result were a couple of porn vids.

 

Not really, etrange32 and audiosoft are taking real care of the uploads. I upload some stuff from time to time though.

 

I was just stating a fact about private trackers, in general, I wasn't choosing a side.

For Science, I've just scrolled the members list at Audionews and found out that up until now, from the open the registration at 12.00am (Russian Time) 856 new accounts have been registered in 15 hours. Are these new people ? or people with banned accounts creating a new one ? What is going on in there ? What is the rate at sister and here ?

Thanks. My best use was the ability to sort by seed/leech and found a few things I've missed over my warez-ing time (which also includes the best things that have been removed from sister site)
