Since last 5 months in my training for my job as SAP Hana Analyst, i have saved a little money and now i want to upgrade my gears and laptop.

I use FL Stuio as my primary DAW and plugins like Sylenth1, Massive, Serum, Waves Plugin and few more.

For producing music i need to buy each and every thing from scratch as I'm far away from my home and currently I've no access to my old gear and also my laptop was little outdated.

So as per my Savings i have explored these from the Internet, as per my need please suggest whether this will be a great choice for me or not.

    Laptop:

Apple mac book pro cost a way up and i simply don't want to take a loan for that on my credit card, I'll buy it when i can opt that on a direct payment.
If there is some other laptop that can be a perfect choice then please suggest it as per the availability at Amazon.in.

    Midi keyboard:

Any new laptop with 8gb RAM+ and good processing speed should be fine (Serum will suck up your resources quickly), look for one with a good amount of USB connections to

I found a second hand MIDI keyboard for around $30, look around town for some deals, Consider how many octaves you need and if you like to use automation, find one with lots of sliders and knobs.

Go for Focusrite if you want trustworthy A/D conversion for your mixing. If you're sure you won't be recording get the Solo.

    Peace

I don't know the price difference, but you may choke a i7 dual core quite fast. Fellow i5/7 dual-core users feel free to provide some feedback. I'll chose a i7-Q processor (quad core) - which will ensure your laptop will stay competitive at least 4 years. The rest can be added later.

Edit: Razor or Asus (gaming series) I know for sure they provide quad-core CPU's.
