So, I upgraded from an RX 6600 to an RTX 3070, and since then this problem started
Opening some plugins in fl studio cause crackling in the moment I open them, but this crackling goes away.
Ill list the problems so it will be easier to understand

Hoovering the mouse arround sample channel causes a little bit of audio crackling

Opening Fruity Parametric EQ 2 causes crackling, but only if in full screen 4k (2k and1080p doesnt have any crackling at all), but if I disable the graph it stops crackling, but as soon as I hover my mouse over the buttons on the graph it starts crackling again

Here's a video of the problem so you guys can see what I'm talking about: Fl studio crackling problem - YouTube

Changing the buffer size doesnt change affect nothing
I also tried checking DPC latency with LatencyMon and my latency is arround 60/100 all the time, so IDK whats happening, here's my PC specs:

    x570 TUF PLUS
    Ryzen 7 5700g
    RTX 3070
    2x8gb Team Group Delta RGB RAM 3600mhz (OC'd to 4000mhz) CL 18 22 22 42 64
1 NVME SSD gen 4 with dram cache (1tb)
    1 NVME SSD gen 3 (512gb)
    1 SATA SSD, 1tb
Power Supply: XPG Core Reactor 850w

    FL Studio 20.9.2 (Build 2963)

    Windows 11

Already tried Nvidia studio and gaming drivers, no change at all, already tried unninstalling geforce experience and setting low latency mode on and off

if you guys need any other information just ask me, thanks

1.) I would install the last driver from here:

    NVIDIA Studio Driver - WHQL

    Driver version:528.24 - WHQL
Release date: Mon Jan 23, 2023
    Operating system:Windows 10 64-bit,Windows 11
    Language:English (US)
    File size:852.95 MB

    Fixed Bugs
    • Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom instability with 528.02 [3940086]
    • Adobe Photoshop 24.1 application instability with 528.02 when using GeForce Experience [3940488]
    • Adobe Premiere Pro: ProRes RAW files appear completely black when previewing [3924753]
    • Autodesk Alias: Expected transparent window appears opaque [3891620]
    • OctaneBench 2020 fails intermittently due to render engine failure [3880988]
    Download: www.nvidia.com/de-de/drivers/results/198730/

2.) Have you checked your mouse to see if it crackles in other applications?

Problems with wireless mouse or keyboard can come from weak batteries, poor connection (receiver in the back ...), or a shared controller/hub. Or even external hubs, extensions, switches ...

    3.)
    - Can you make a screen shot of your Fl Audio settings? 44100 Sample rate & Buffer lengh 256smp
    - Can you leave out the effects?
    - You can also check in your taskmanager if the CPU goes up somehow when you load an effect
    - You can record the crackling noise
    - Have you checked the cable from the monitor to your sound card to see if everything is tight?

Hallo @Kuuhaku - Wow new graphics card and the problems start.
Sorry - I don't like watching videos that much - I watched it now.

Increase step by step from 64 to 128 then 256 --> I recommend Buffer lengh 256smp

    Fl Studio 21 - Producer Edition v21.0.1 (build3348)

Well, I tried the new driver and it seems to work, after unninstalling the old one with DDU and installing this the crackling stopped on parametric eq 2

Well then, keep the driver. Do you have any other crackles or pops?

Nvidia driver (nvlddmkm.sys) has high latency, that's a known issue. Certain versions reduce and certain increase it unfortunately.

go in device manager and disable all audio driver from nvidia or microsoft

Just use your dedicated asio interface driver

Well, it seems that the problem was the "Power Management Mode", when I set it to "prefer maximum performance" and restart the PC shows that behavior, but setting it to "Normal" and restarting gets thing back to normal

I was just about to reply that you should set it TO 'prefer maximum performance" for all real time apps - is that what you meant to write perhaps? In the Nvidia control panel you can set this for each individual app (program settings tab next to global settings) so it will only kick in when needed. setting this for reaper, bitwig etc plus changing the windows power plan to maximum performance solved all my DPC latency issues.

well, if I set prefer maximum performance globally and then specify fl studio to have normal performance I get the problem anyways, I guess I'll have to use it in normal mode

Setting it to normal didn't introduced any dpc latency issues till now, but I'm gonna do some testing

Also, it seems that an option on Nvidia Control Panel break the 60fps limit on OpenGL applications, and letting they have 1000 of FPS introduces crackling back again, so I used the program specific setting in "manage 3D settings" to allow fl to have maximum of 300FPS, this got rid of crackling again
