Get a used MOTU 828Mk2. Tons of ins and outs, rock solid MOTU drivers and sounds absolutely great. Analogue balanced ins (x8) and outs (x8) the back, toslink ins and outs (or use to add another module), main outs, send/return for FX, and front mounted guitar/mic preamps with phantom power and headphone socket hat mirrors main out (or can be set to listen to any other output). You can normally find them for a fair bit less than your budget if you look around. You can get a FireWire or USB version of this unit and I can't recommend this enough, and such an underrated audio interface in my opinion!
