Hi Guys

Here is the problem. I have 2 tracks
1.) the original song (with vocals)
2.) the vocal track only

How can i align the vocal only track to the original song ? Any help is welcome !! TIA

 

If you want to LOCK the audio editing so when you move the vocal track the other follow the same edit ( let say elastic audio ) Create a group for both tracks and select this setting bellow



This is a random picture so you'll only have to select EDITING AND PHASE LOCKED AUDIO.

If this is not your case please let me know and I'll try to help give you another option

On the ther hand if the vocals have a different tempo than the music here is another quick tip:

Set logic to the vocals original tempo ( let say 120 )
then activate elastic audio for the vocal track only
Now change the tempo of logic to the music track tempo ( let say is 127 )
Voila your vocals track is now at 127 and you only have to move it to the right places
