    Just came across this little program called FocusWriter which looks pretty neat.

    It allows you to 'zone in' on your work, as though you were looking at a blank sheet of paper.

    Obviously it's not for everybody, but the light-blue background fills me with a sense of calm and it's free to download :)

    You could go a step further and also add an app blocker such as Freedom to temporarily lose your social media interruptions.

    PS yes, I am easily distracted!

    oh that's actually pretty nice. Would want to use when doing writing work :)

    I would hit F11 for total focus, just looking at the blank space made me feel like writing something :)
