I must correct you. There's nothing wrong or faudulent in this. In fact, Dirk Urlich himself created a special space on PA Users Facebook page while ago explaining people that they can exchange, sell or give their vouchers.
Plugin Alliance and Dirk have nothing against it.

 

Ok if so, or even promoted by Plugin Alliance CEO, then I have nothing to complain about. However, it seems to me particularly strange to consent to this practice.

 

That's the beauty of PA business model. They are flexible and leaned toward customers

I think it is incorrect to call it a fantastic/beautiful model as you say. PA support two days ago blocked the transaction because they said that the voucher did not comply with my account. That's all

 

I'm sorry to hear that. You should wrote what type of account you have and what actually happened because it's the first time I've heard something like that.
However I stand by my statement about PA (subscription) business model. Currently it is the best deal on the market, but hey maybe it's not suitable for everyone.

 

I have a simple account like everyone else. There are no different types of accounts in PA. For months I have been in their mix master subscription, I wanted to buy a perpetual license using $ 75 LV, but after many attempts, it always gave me invalid code, even if the code that was so generously given to me was valid. I opened a support ticket asking for explanations, and the assistance replied that this voucher was not compatible with the amounts I had spent in the last 12 months. So PA is not this wonderful world that you are describing, so I had good reason to disagree with your statement. With respect of course

 

Ahhh, I get it. There are some limitations regarding using vouchers if you didn't had any purchases in last 12 months. Also, there's a minimum spend limit to make purchase with vouchers etc... Again, sorry it didn't work for you

 

This is good information, and is the first I have heard of this happening. I've never heard of anyone not being able to use a gifted loyalty voucher before, even if it's above the level that they are eligable for.

Just so we can calibrate with respect to this to understand the numbers that may trigger this - how much *have* you spent with PA over the last 12 months?

Really strange. Last September I gave my cash-back $199 voucher to a colleague of mine who never bought anything from PA before.
He used it to get perpetual licenses without any problem.

 

I'm willing to test a $75 voucher for research purposes if anybody has one
