Good to hear ASIO4All is still around, it has saved my ass on several occasions.

CHANGES SINCE VERSION 2.15 (BETA 2):

• Resolve potential Windows 11 compatibilty issues.
• Fixes and workarounds for on-board audio on newer AMD systems (like Ryzen 5000).
• Fix a number of issues related to WaveRT packet support.
• Fix GUI visual distortion on high DPI display.
• Improve backwards compatibility with Windows 8 (no official support, though!)

 

LOL He's not the 5 year old insulting and degrading people, by making comments they are the ones making the ridiculous comments. All he did was review this as a horrible piece of junk. He didn't take shots at you children, even after you made the juvenile comments that must of taken a ton of brainpower to come up with. I mean, they are creative. He even went as far as to go into detail why. Honestly, you seriously can't actually sit there and not realize you are mocking others, for the asinine sh!t that is actually flowing from your mouths. Another alternative is ASIO Link Pro (now abandonware).

Anyone heard of FlexAsio, been using it for 2 years, and I am more than happy with it.
Has lower latency and same quality as FL ASIO.

 

What latency do you get with FlexASIO?

Depends on what plugins I use, but for example on 256 sample rate, you get 30 less latency than on FL Asio for example.

BTW dont forget to install GUI as well, for easier configuration of Sample Rate, Input and Output ....etc

 

Don't mind if I hijack this thread a bit, but I'm having some issues with ASIO4ALL. Essentially with my previous laptop I exclusively used ASIO4ALL since I don't have any external soundcard. Just got a new laptop and what I'm noticing is Ableton will play sound through my headphones if I use Realtek ASIO, but if I switch to ASIO4ALL, it plays the DAW sound through the laptop speakers. I would stick to using Realtek ASIO, but CPU usage is somehow worse than my old laptop running ASIO4ALL. For reference, it's a Ryzen 5000 CPU, just tried Beta 3 and this is what I got(With beta 2 I didn't get any sound out whatsoever). Any clue what to do?

 

It's an ASIO router, not a driver itself, you need to select within ASIO Link Pro an ASIO driver, if you don't have any, ASIO4ALL can do the job.

I installed flexasio just few days ago in win10 and abl live 10. I could activate in live’s settings only once and then flexasio couldn’t be loaded again. Reinstalling didn’t help. Forget it. I have been using FLASIO for two-three years and it looks ok.

I also use FlexASIO and it runs glitch free. I think that it is a decent alternative to ASIO4ALL.
Cons is that it doesn't have GUI yet and that it crashes on some testing configurations.
