Beta means test phase and is mostly flawed - I never install betas because I'm not a beta tester.

 

I see you have a Focusrite, why don't you use the driver.

1.) Driver Type = Set ASIO
2.) Audio Device - Set Focusrite

• Fix encoding and spelling errors in the Chinese and Turkish localization
• Installers are now digitally signed. Ironically, this may trigger a Smart Screen warning – while distributing totally unsigned executables – year after year in the past – did not. Go Microsoft!
• As there were no functional changes, the Beta 3 download links have just been updated, without a version number change.

ASIO4ALL v2.15 Final

CHANGES SINCE VERSION 2.15 (BETA 3):

• Workaround for Oculus VAD.
• Fix crash with Blackmagic Design DeckLink driver.
• Avoid using “Stereo Mix” input in default configuration.
• Fix erratic behaviour of “Force 16 bit” – option, especially when WDM driver does not support a 16 bit sample data format.

 

Awesome my best way to combine this with ASIO Link PRO it is a killer combo I have about 4 ms overall latency with WIndows 10 and GigaByte B550 Ryzen 5600x
I'm just wondering if someone know a fix for USB microphones my only issue is when I choose my USB mic for 1 input source my buffer size has to be huge so I have to increase to like 80ms overall latency to not get "crackling weird-robotic" effect on my USB mic.

 

I always thought these developers abandoned the update a long time ago. Maybe I thought that because I switched to other software long ago. Only recently, I really thought about using ASIO because I accidentally lost files from developments in another program while uninstalling another staff. Yes, I'll recover them soon with https://prosvit.design/, but ASIO4ALL can also help me recreate the developments I've made. More accurately, I wouldn't call it recreating, but adding a few details, haha. It's good that you wrote it here. I was googling for information about this on keywords, guys, and came across this post in the first place.

I have a Presonus Studio24c interface hooked up to my Windows 11 Ryzen laptop. In both Cubase 12 and Studio One 5.5, in order to eliminate pops and clicks, I have to set the buffer in the Presonus driver to 1024. This brings my latency to around 24ms. And and 1024 I still get pops mainly with pad sounds from Pigments, Massive X, Chromaphone, etc. Upping the driver to 2048 makes the sound worse and unusable. It sounds gurgly. A4A, luckily, is a lifesaver. Not only does it eliminate the pops and clicks, and gives me a workable latency, but it also recognizes the loopback function of the Studio24c, unlike the generic driver which doesn't.
